A strong sense of community and a culture of giving have been part of who we are for 40 years. We are passionate about making a positive contribution to society and we benefit in kind from team building opportunities, personal satisfaction and cultivating a positive company culture. Some of our sponsorships, charity days and donations are included in the gallery below.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Gala Ball
Ronald McDonald House charities helps families of seriously ill children by keeping families together and close to the care their child needs. The cornerstone program of RMHC provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. In 1981 the first Australian Ronald McDonald House opened in Sydney’s Camperdown. There are now 16 Ronald McDonald Houses in Australia and more than 360 houses worldwide.
Other programs include:
· Ronald McDonald Family Room - a relaxing haven within hospitals giving families a break from the stress of many hours spent by their child’s bedside.
· Ronald McDonald Learning Program - helping more than 1,200 children on any given week catch-up on missed schooling following a serious illness.
· Ronald McDonald Family Retreat - providing families with seriously ill children a week’s free accommodation at one of four family retreats across Australia, enabling them to reconnect and enjoy a holiday when they most need it and can least afford it.

Helping Hornsby Homeless
Local homelessness was the chosen focus of our Christmas Community Support efforts this year. Our team worked with St John’s Uniting Church Wahroonga’s Soup Van ‘The Dish’ in supplying Christmas dinner and gifts to the homeless on Christmas Day. The companies also made donations to the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter in memory of the poor homeless woman that died in local bushland on a cold night last winter.

Christmas 2016 Community Support
Huge thanks to the whole team for being so active in our Christmas 2016 Community Support initiatives. You guys are awesome!!! This year we:
A. Worked with Ravenswood and Gordon Uniting Church to create local Lifeline Christmas Hampers.
B. Became a corporate sponsor of Lifeline Crisis Line (‘Lifeline Harbour to Hawksbury’). This helpline is a great assistance to many of our customers, especially those encountering Hardship, so we are very passionate about supporting this great community service, donating $2000 at Christmas with the view to exploring further possibilities of support in 2017.
C. Arranged paid time off for 7 staff members to volunteer at Sydney’s Special Children’s Christmas Party which is a fun-filled Christmas Event for seriously ill, intellectually/physically impaired and underprivileged children. Everyone that attended said it was a really rewarding and enjoyable day, so we will definitely put our hand up to participate again next year!!!
