Insolvency Management Services (iMS) specialise in the management of unique consumer and commercial recoveries, such as insolvency, bankruptcy, hardship, liquidation and deceased estates. Our service spans the insolvency cycle and provides clients with full outsourcing options or the ability to leverage external expertise to support their in-house departments. 15 years of operation and specially trained staff mean that we have the knowledge and experience to perform any unique and/or ‘sensitive’ recoveries required.

We have developed customised operational structures, IT systems, procedures and risk mitigation programs to deliver best practice outcomes that meet or exceed the stringent operating standards imposed by high profile organisations, who we currently serve. Our dedicated team of highly skilled professionals have been specifically trained to manage sensitive cases. Together, this minimises risk to the client and ensures their brand image is protected in both the public and regulatory domains.

iMS is the only agency in Australia that performs speciality collections exclusively. We were the first agency in Australia to offer 3rd party insolvency management services, the first to offer 3rd party hardship management services, and we continue to be one of the most successful collection agencies in the industry.

iMS maintains a close and professional relationship with regulatory bodies and interdependent government departments, and applies its specialised knowledge and experience in the management of portfolios on behalf of clients. We liaise with trustees in bankruptcies, debt administrators, liquidators, estate managers and corporate administrators by completing proofs of debt, voting on matters under client guidelines and instructions, monitoring distributions and responding to trustee enquiries.

Our operations and processes have been carefully designed to cope with the complexities and sensitivities associated with these types of portfolios. Ongoing training is provided to all of our staff covering any new guidelines or regulatory changes, and to review existing knowledge to ensure constant compliance in this highly regulated area. Both hardship & insolvency portfolios are continuously audited by our dedicated Compliance Team, whom share feedback to guarantee continuous improvement.
